Canyoning.ai portal and International Canyoning Festival Greece 2023 are dedicated to the global, extreme sport of descending wet or dry canyons. The following terms meet the requests of all organized events, promoted by our portal and festival.
1. Terms and Conditions
The excursions of the Canyoning.ai portal and the International Canyoning Festival Greece 2023 are governed by the terms and conditions described below. Please read them carefully to avoid misunderstandings.
At the Festival, all excursions will be carried out by you and the members of your group. Each of you individually is solely responsible for his own safety, since he is not a professional driver, he, as part of his duties, is also responsible for the safety of his team.
Please read all points and sign at the end before you start coming to the Festival. It is very important to us at the Canyoning.ai portal and the International Canyoning Festival 2023 that all participants, including professional level canyoners, enjoy their favorite activity in nature as safely as possible. As previously mentioned Canyoning.ai is a portal that promotes the sport and the International Canyoning Festival Greece 2023 is the organizer of the Canyoning Festival.

If you want to confirm your registration to the Festival, it is necessary to “click” on acceptance. If you have undertaken to book the accommodation at the “Freeland adventure camp”, the main venue of the Festival, for your group, then you will be the designated contact person for all your friends who will be participating in the Festival. However, you should all “click” on the acceptance button, because it is necessary, in order to prove that all team members agree with the Terms and Conditions of the Canyoning.ai portal and the International Canyoning Festival Greece 2023. Inform each member of your team for this link. They must, as mentioned above, read the text of the Terms and accept it. Then, everyone should send a relevant email to our email address: sales@canyoning.ai writing in the “Subject” the date of their arrival at “Freeland adventure camp”.
2. The Participation Registration and Accommodation Reservation Agreement.
The Canyoning.ai portal and the International Canyoning Festival Greece 2023 have already informed all website visitors with the necessary information to register your participation in the Festival and book your stay.
Before arriving at the reception of “Freeland adventure camp”, YOU MUST ALREADY ACCEPT ALL THE TERMS BELOW :.
The age limit for Canyoning Festival participants is eighteen (18) years and each participant MUST be an independent canyoner. If you are a beginner or non-canyoner you must declare it, and the professional guide of your choice will be responsible for your safety and protection in the activities you will participate in. All participants are required to provide complete and accurate information to make their reservation. Teen canyoners must also be of independent canyoner level and must always be accompanied by their parent/guardian.
Please provide us with your personal data honestly and accurately, we promise not to share any of your personal information with third parties in accordance with the Privacy Policy and the GDPR. If you undertake the participation of a group of canyoners in the Festival, after informing them beforehand about the activity they will be participating in. you must send to the organizing committee of Canyoning.ai:
• The written acknowledgments of all members for their registration and reservation of their stay, which will be accompanied by
• All necessary personal details (name, surname, age, address, country, telephone, mobile, e-mail, social media profile, contact person in case of emergency) of each team member.
• Their consent to the disclosure of this information to the Canyoning.ai portal and the International Canyoning Festival Greece 2023, in accordance with the GDPR, to complete the booking process of their stay.
3. Medical History and Medical Form
The Canyoning.ai portal and the International Canyoning Festival Greece 2023 consider it necessary to provide the Medical History of each participant upon registration. Please fill out the medical form contained on the website.
The Medical Form must be filled out honestly and accurately as it is a necessary condition to be considered fit to take part in the Canyoning Festival. The information included will be strictly confidential in accordance with the GDPR and Privacy Policy. The Canyoning.ai portal and the International Canyoning Festival Greece 2023 reserve the right to request further supplementary information or even professional medical opinions, where deemed necessary and in the interest of your own safety or that of your team. We also ask that you be cooperative and receptive, in the event that your team leader refuses your participation in a canyon descent if he/she deems it to protect you and the entire team from a potentially life-threatening condition, precisely because of the situation of your health. But the Canyoning.ai portal itself and the International Canyoning Festival Greece 2023 reserve the right to cancel your participation in a canyon descent during the Festival, as long as it may endanger life and safety in any way physical integrity of you and the other participants, but offering, in this case and in compensation for the specific descent, an alternative activity.
Because there is a possibility that a medical condition of yours could seriously affect your ability to complete the descent of the canyon and in order to be able to reach the nearest medical treatment facility, be it a hospital, a health center or a doctor’s office, we recommend that you you have already calculated in advance the distances of the areas in which you have planned to travel, for the realization of the canyon descents. It is not only a matter of your personal safety but extremely important for the safety of the whole team. Also keep in mind that the medical facility and its staff may not meet the standards of those in your city.
Before embarking on a canyoning trip, you should be sure that you can participate, as you yourself are primarily responsible for your own life. We also recommend that you take all the necessary medical precautions for your health, before your arrival at the International Canyoning Festival Greece 2023.
Canyoning is a demanding sport in nature and its participation may be impossible or significantly limited in case of pregnancy, difficulty in mobility (physical or cognitive disability) or other physical/mental conditions. Please consider the risks and physical/technical demands of the sport responsibly.
For all the above reasons, in addition to your express consent to the terms and conditions of your registration and your participation in the Festival, we consider it necessary that you should, upon your arrival at the Festival, have a Medical Certificate from your general practitioner that confirms that you can participate in it.
4. Special Requirements.
Food and accommodation: The Canyoning.ai portal and the committee of the International Canyoning Festival Greece 2023 have chosen the “Freeland adventure camp” facilities for your stay. Breakfast and dinner will be served on site. Other nutritional needs, such as nutrition in the canyons, will be covered by each participant individually and are NOT included in the accommodation prices.
Age: The age limit for participation in canyon descents is eighteen (18) years. If it is about participants under this age and with a minimum age of fifteen (15) years, when making the descents into the canyons, these children must be accompanied by their parents. Also, for their participation in canyon descents, during the Festival, they must have already performed at least ten (10) canyon descents. In case of participants of the Festival who have children under the age of fifteen (15) with them, we recommend the facilities of the “Freeland adventure camp” which provide a wonderful environment where children can play safely. The Canyoning.ai portal and the organizing committee of the International Canyoning Festival Greece 2023 are not responsible for any expenses incurred by the participants of the Festival, for the purpose of the protection, safety and entertainment of their minor children. During the stay of the parents participating in the Festival with their minor children, their supervision and the responsibility for their compliance with the safety rules rests exclusively with the parents.
Please note that canyoning is a nature sport that requires a great deal of discipline, cooperation, mutual understanding, trust, technical knowledge of movement in a dangerous rocky water environment, using ropes and special clothing/equipment.
5. Private Insurance
All participants should be provided with life insurance that covers the entire duration of the Canyoning Festival and the most serious insurance risks, such as the risk of bodily injury, medical treatment, the risk of electrical discharge, safe repatriation. In addition, all participants are advised to include in their insurance coverage the cancellation of the reservation and the expenses that may arise from it, the loss of personal belongings and the restoration of any positive or collateral damage, due to injury, as well as the moral damage that may suffer from any form of delay or inconvenience that may occur during the Festival.
6. Prices and Taxes
Published rates for Canyoning Festival registration and Freeland adventure camp accommodation bookings include all statutory local taxes and may be subject to change.
7. Validity
The Canyoning.ai portal and the International Canyoning Festival Greece 2023, declare that the prices for registration to the Festival and for the reservation at the “Freeland adventure camp” accommodations will be those in force at the time of making the reservation. If there are any changes, revisions or other modifications, a detailed explanation and notification will be sent via e-mail from the Canyoning.ai portal.

9.Details required for your registration and booking.
To ensure a valid confirmation of your Canyoning Festival registration, you must provide us with all necessary information as requested by our Terms and Conditions. To reserve your accommodation, you need to fill in the details here. If you do not fill in the required information in your registration form, the organising committee of the International Canyoning Festival Greece 2023 cannot proceed with the approval of your registration application. In the event that you have concealed critical information from those requested for the approval of your registration, the organising committee of the International Canyoning Festival Greece 2023 reserves the right to consider your registration as invalid and to impose reasonable cancellation fees, at its absolute discretion please, the Canyoning.ai portal and the organising committee of the International Canyoning Festival Greece 2023 are not responsible for any additional charges that may arise due to a delay on your part in providing the necessary information for your registration, or the provision of incorrect or inaccurate information .
10.Final payment and booking acceptance
When registering for the Canyoning Festival and booking your stay at the “Freeland adventure camp”, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with details of the final payments to be made. If you do not proceed to pay the full amount on time, the organizing committee of the International Canyoning Festival Greece 2023 and the reservation department of “Freeland adventure camp” have the right to consider your reservation as invalid. In the event that the final payment terms differ from those described in this section, the applicable terms will be communicated to you prior to your booking and will also be indicated on the payment document.
The Canyoning.ai portal and the organising committee of the International Canyoning Festival Greece 2023 are not responsible for any incorrect charges by third parties, such as financial institutions, as a result of credit card transactions or other transactions, in connection with the payment of registration/accommodation reservation costs and are not obliged to refund, in case of incorrect charges or any commissions that may be charged by these persons.
11.Cancellation of your registration by you
Keep in mind that:
– there are costs incurred immediately after your registration and for this reason it is not possible to refund the full price of your registration,
– you can exchange your registration directly with a friend who wants to participate instead of you, after consultation.
In case of cancellation of registration, the amount refunded is:
– 75% (seventy five percent) of the amount paid at the time of registration if the cancellation is made by 01.02.2023 (Wednesday 1 February 2023).
– 50% (fifty percent) of the amount paid at the time of registration, in case of cancellation if the cancellation is made by 01.03.2023 (Wednesday, March 1, 2023).
– 0% (non-refundable) of the amount paid at the time of registration, if the cancellation is made after 01.03.2023 (Wednesday, March 1, 2023).
If you transfer your registration to another canyoner:
– notified by e-mail the organizing committee of the International Canyoning Festival Greece 2023 (sales@canyoning.ai).
– in order for the transfer to take place, guide the person who will replace you to correctly fill out the registration form on the festival website and accept the registration conditions.
If the transfer is made after 12.04.2023 (Wednesday 12 April 2023), it will not be possible to change the size of the t-shirt you originally ordered and your friend, who replaces you in the registration, will receive the t-shirt in the size you had originally chosen.
12.Guaranteed departures and cancellation possibilities during the Festival period by Canyoning.ai.
We guarantee that all scheduled events of the Festival will take place, subject to changes or cancellations due to reasonable and justified circumstances or reasons of Force Majeure.
If a scheduled promoted satellite event is canceled by the organizers, for reasons other than Force Majeure or Force Majeure, an alternative event or activity will be provided. If, after your arrival at the Festival, an event cannot take place as planned, the Canyoning.ai portal and the organizing committee of the International Canyoning Festival Greece 2023 will make appropriate alternative arrangements to ensure the smooth continuation of the Festival. During the festival, the organizing committee will provide all festival participants with written and verbal notices of any possible change to the scheduled satellite events.
The Canyoning.ai portal and the International Canyoning Festival Greece 2023 bear no responsibility for any loss of items or costs that may arise after canceling your registration/booking at the Festival, such as: costs for obtaining a visa, any mandatory vaccination, air or non-refundable train tickets, car parking costs, etc.
13.Travel Documents.
You are entirely responsible for the security of the identification documents that you must carry with you while attending the Festival (passport, ID card, etc.). The Canyoning.ai portal and the International Canyoning Festival Greece 2023 bear no responsibility in case of loss of your travel documents.
It is recommended that Festival participants holding passports of other countries check the expiry date of their passport in time before booking their stay at the Festival.
14.Flexibility and Unused Services
You must recognize with your registration and reservation of your stay for the International Canyoning Festival 2023, that, like all outdoor activities, canyoning requires a special flexibility in your movements and general behavior. Also, please be lenient with us in case of reasonable and justified changes to the events organized by the Canyoning.ai portal and the organizing committee of the International Canyoning Festival Greece 2023.

It is also self-evident that the Canyoning.ai portal and the organising committee of the International Canyoning Festival Greece 2023 bear no responsibility for the termination of your participation in any event of the Festival, due to your fault, or due to a violation of these Terms and Conditions.
15.Changes
Changes that may be made by the Canyoning.ai portal and the organizing committee of the International Canyoning Festival Greece 2023:
Reasonable changes may be made to the itineraries of any excursion where deemed necessary or appropriate for operational and safety reasons. In particular, there may be necessary or advisable changes, as a result of unforeseen weather or other conditions or reasons related to the efficient operation of the Festival, as well as the health, safety, enjoyment and comfort of the participants. Any such changes are at the discretion of the Canyoning.ai portal and the organizing committee of the International Canyoning Festival Greece 2023. In this case, to ensure the smooth continuity of the Festival, alternative activities will be proposed, at no additional cost to the participants. Participants are advised to have a reasonable amount of cash available during their participation in the Festival to cover incidental or unforeseen expenses that may arise during the Festival, on an outing. The Canyoning.ai portal and the International Canyoning Festival Greece 2023 bear NO responsibility, in case of failure to participate in a canyon descent, due to insufficient preparation of the participant to deal with unforeseen circumstances that may arise in an outdoor activity. Also, the Canyoning.ai portal and the International Canyoning Festival Greece will NOT bear any responsibility for any changes in the itinerary of an excursion.
Changes that may be made by you:
You are responsible for the accuracy and correctness of the information you enter on the Canyoning.ai portal platform and at the International Canyoning Festival Greece 2023, for the purpose of making your registration/reservation. The cost of the reservation is not transferred to other products or services of the Canyoning.ai portal.
Any change to the participant’s face will be made upon his request, will be subject to the approval of the Canyoning.ai. portal and its acceptance will depend on availability, at the time of submission of the relevant request. Any additional costs incurred in making the change will be charged along with the applicable administration fee.
In order to transfer your Festival registration and accommodation reservation to another person, this person must meet all the conditions applicable to participation in the Festival and you must notify the Canyoning.ai portal of your intention to change at least ten four (14) days before the date of departure of the canyoner who will replace you. In the event such a change is made, both you and the person taking your place will be jointly and severally liable to Canyoning.ai for the payment of the registration fee and any additional costs that may arise. from face change.
16.The acceptance of the risk
You must recognise that the adventurous nature of canyoning poses a significant risk to your health and safety. – You have examined all the possible dangers and challenges involved in canyoning and based on your physical and mental capabilities and endurance you have the will to undertake them.
– Based on the above, you accept that the Canyoning.ai portal and the organizing committee of the International Canyoning Festival Greece 2023 are not responsible, in case of an accident and your injury.
– You accept that the standards of hygiene, accommodation and transport, during the Festival, may be of lower quality, compared to those of the city of Athens, the large Greek cities or the cities abroad.
– You acknowledge that the Canyoning.ai portal and the organising committee of the International Canyoning Festival Greece 2023 are not responsible, during the Festival, for providing more information or guidance, apart from information on the topographical points of the canyons and weather conditions.
– You acknowledge that you must in any case fully comply with all applicable laws of Greece. In the event of your failure to comply or your commission of any criminally or civilly unlawful and culpable act, during the Festival, capable of causing injury, damage, disturbance, distress or annoyance to participants, Canyoning.ai and the organizing committee of the International Canyoning Festival Greece 2023 reserves the right to terminate your further participation in the Festival or in any event/excursion, free of charge and without the obligation to refund money.
– You acknowledge that you are responsible for the restoration of any damage and expense caused by your own fault and promise to report it to the staff of the accommodation, the transportation service or the facility or the representative of the Canyoning.ai portal, depending on the case.
– You agree that you will take all reasonable measures in relation to your own safety during the Canyoning.ai portal and International Canyoning Festival 2023 excursions, including but not limited to the proper use of technical equipment (ropes, safety belts, helmets, straps, carabiners) but also the correct practice of descending canyons. Canyoning.ai and its Third Party Suppliers (as defined below) are not responsible for your failure to comply with their safety instructions or recommendations.
– You are willing to notify us in time of any complaint you have regarding the Festival as soon as possible in order to enable us to resolve it effectively. The Canyoning.ai portal and the organizing committee of the International Canyoning Festival Greece 2023 bear NO responsibility for complaints that are not communicated in a timely and sufficient manner. Any complaint arising during the Festival should be sent in writing to the Canyoning.ai portal and sales@canyoning.ai.
17.The Canyoning.ai portal and the organising committee of the International Canyoning Festival Greece 2023 bear no responsibility towards third parties acting as their Suppliers.
Third Party Suppliers may hire the services of local operators or subcontractors to provide travel services that are part of the Festival business. Although Canyoning.ai will exercise the utmost care in the selection of Third Party Suppliers for the Festival, however, it cannot be held responsible for their acts or omissions, as such persons will act as independent professionals and therefore it will not be possible to their control and supervision. The travel and other services provided by the Suppliers are governed by the Law and the contractual conditions, as stated in the invoices they issue, the transport tickets, vouchers and other supporting documents that may limit or exclude the responsibility of the Supplier.
ACCORDINGLY, IN NO EVENT WILL Canyoning.ai BE LIABLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIMS FOR DAMAGES OR EXPENSES THAT MAY ARISE FROM THE ACT OR OMISSION OF ANY THIRD PARTY.
18.Optional Additional Services.
Optional additional services related to the outdoor activity, transportation, food or any other product or service not expressly included in the description or itineraries of the excursions are not part of the Festival, and any action of the Canyoning.ai portal and its organizing committee International Canyoning Festival Greece 2023 for the addition of optional additional services will only be done at your request and without any responsibility on our part for them for any reason.
From the provision of such services or activities, the provider thereof will be solely responsible.
19. Liability
The Canyoning.ai portal and the organizing committee of the International Canyoning Festival Greece 2023 are responsible in accordance with the separate provisions herein, for the services provided that are part of the Festival, excluding their responsibility for Acts of Fortune and Force Majeure.
The Canyoning.ai portal and the organizing committee of the International Canyoning Festival Greece 2023 are NOT responsible for loss, theft or damage to your luggage or personal belongings during your participation in the Festival. It is recommended that you do not leave your personal valuables or other items unattended at drop-off points, accommodation facilities, transport vehicles or in any other public place or means of transport.
The Canyoning.ai portal and the organising committee of the International Canyoning Festival 2023 are NOT responsible for any loss, damage, death, injury or illness caused by the negligent conduct of a third party.
The Canyoning.ai portal and the organising committee of the International Canyoning Festival Greece 2023 are NOT liable to you under any circumstances for causing any loss or damage, in violation of these Terms.
20. Photos, Video and Marketing
You agree that, during your participation in the Canyoning.ai portal excursions and the International Canyoning Festival 2023, photos or videos may be taken by us or other participants, in which you will also appear. You acknowledge that you consent to the taking of any such photos/videos and hereby grant irrevocable permission to the Canyoning.ai portal and the organising committee of the International Canyoning Festival Greece 2023 to use and reproduce them, free of charge, for marketing and advertising purposes promotion, using social media and any other legal means.

The Agreement and these Terms and Conditions are governed by Greek laws, and for the resolution of any dispute arising in relation to the interpretation and application of these Terms or any event that takes place in Greece, the Greek courts are exclusively competent.
24. Amendments
The Canyoning.ai portal and the organising committee of the International Canyoning Festival Greece 2023 reserve the right to update and/or modify these Terms at any time and will publish the modified Terms on their official websites. Any modification will come into effect after ten (10) days from their posting on the websites, at which time you will be deemed to have accepted them.
