The organising committee of the International Canyoning Festival Greece 2023 has chosen Freeland Adventure Camp, in Chiliomodi, Corinthia, as its base. For safety reasons all participants are kindly obligated to book their accommodation there. Canyons presented in the website are in maximum 2,5 hours driving distance away and the Festival’s secretariat needs to have control of everyday descents.
32 DORMITORIES ACCOMMODATING 10 – 12 PEOPLE
The Freeland Adventure Camp facilities are located at an altitude of 400 meters, in a pine forest of 6000 acres full of lush vegetation of acacias, pines, eucalyptus, laurels spread over a total area of 50 acres.
The most important and really practical detail is that each house has large spreaders! There are many places where we will be able to wash all the canyoning equipment for free. Freeland Adventure Camp hosts will also provide extra ropes wrapped around nearby trees if needed so we can comfortably hang our gear to dry.
PRICES INCLUDE BREAKFAST
Breakfast will be served from 07:00 – 09:00 in the open restaurant next to the kitchen or in the closed room where the presentations will take place and will give us strength and energy every day! Vegan and vegetarian guests will also have the opportunity to enjoy a breakfast of soy milk, a variety of seasonal fruits, nuts and spreads, cocoa and fresh bread.
At Freeland Adventure Camp there is also the possibility of dinner, with an extra charge, for those who wish or have not already had dinner returning to the base after the canyons. Each morning we will need to fill in our name on the dinner list so that the kitchen staff will be able to prepare us a variety of delicacies, freshly-cooked especially for the participants of the Festival. Again our vegan and vegetarian friends will have many options to try delicious Greek recipes on a daily basis.
The breakfast and dinner menus will be announced on our website a week before the start of the festival. If you have a food allergy, please inform the Freeland reception staff as well as the organisers of Canyoning.ai.
Due to the pine forest, the use of fire is expressly and unequivocally prohibited during the entire stay of the groups in Freeland. Please refrain from cooking for safety reasons. Food prices are already very low.
We also kindly ask you to keep the area clean throughout the Festival and try to avoid excessive wastage of water.

At Freeland Adventure Camp there are 32 dormitories with a capacity of 10-12 people. So that all participants can be served and you can be with your friends and team, organize your stay in advance so that you can be together. The positions in each dormitory are specific and we all need to be flexible. Thank you for your understanding!
