Location:
Erarchos canyon is located below the peak of the same name in the Municipality of Kalavryta, Achaia. It is only 16 km from the Vilibina gorge and can be done on the same day. Access to the entrance requires a 1.1 Km uphill walk or better yet a second car.
Specifications:
It has about twenty descents up to 20 meters in a green environment with trees. The first two belays follow a short path and are made in a tree. The canyon continues with repeated rappels. The end of the canyon is characteristic because we reach the road, where turning left for a few meters we reach the car.
Short description:
From Selinunda we choose the road to Petsaki. After Petsaki in the direction of Korfes, turn right for 2.7 Km to find the exit of the canyon where we park the car. For the entrance we go uphill towards the small chapel, in which we go down immediately to the right without disturbing the stable of the area and its dogs.
