Location:
Gerakina canyon is located in the area of Schinos in the Geraneia mountains and is usually dry. It is close to our base at Freeland Adventure Camp and about an hour away from the center of Athens.
Specifications:
It has a total of 17 technical descents with the longest being 30 meters. The final triple descent before the exit is the best point of the canyon and offers a unique experience.
Short description:
It is an ideal choice for beginners in canyoning and is usually used as a training ground for Greek canyoning schools as well as professional canyoning guides, as it has a wonderful view and narrow points with repeated descents.
