During the International Canyoning Festival Greece 2023 you will have the opportunity to enjoy traditional Greek dishes in the various villages, which are located near the exits of the canyons of the wider area. The local agricultural production in fruits, vegetables, nuts, legumes, honey, wine, olives and oil as well as animal products, milk, cheese and yogurt is sure to satisfy your every taste expectation.
Traditional taverns
The organizing committee will offer some suggestions of various traditional taverns, which we will refer to in detail in following blog posts, so that you can make a reservation for your group, to enjoy food after the day’s descent of the canyon of your choice.
Breakfast
During your stay you will have the opportunity to enjoy a fresh, rich breakfast for strength and energy: coffee, tea, local eggs, local honey, jams, freshly baked bread, nuts, fruits, cereals and more. Daily, breakfast will be served in the areas next to the kitchen 07:00 – 09:00. The layout of the tables is such that each group can comfortably organize the descent of the day.
Dinner at our base
At our base, Freeland Adventure Camp, dinner will be available by arrangement during breakfast. Those wishing to dine will simply fill in their name on a list so the kitchen knows how many servings of food to prepare for the evening. In addition, near the Festival secretariat, there is a canteen with snacks, drinks, soft drinks, beers and wine. Dinner and canteen charges are very affordable so that no one has food insecurity. They operate with specific hours, which will be posted on the premises during the Festival.
