Location:
Inachos canyon is located in the ravine formed by the river of the same name / torrent, which originates from Mount Artemisio and Mount Lyrkeio. The descent starts from the outskirts of Karya and Nestani, ending near Neochori.
Specifications:
Having water all year round and presenting great changes and technical demands, it is considered one of the most interesting and dynamic gorges of the North Peloponnese. Inachos canyon has a total of 15 descents with a maximum height of 22 meters. At the point where we meet the ruined 8 watermills we turn from the right side to the very uphill return path. The canyon is dangerous with high water flow and needs attention according to the weather report.
Short description:
From the National Highway we turn towards Nestani and then towards Karya. At 5.3 Km from Nestani on the left notice the red arrow on the rocks pointing to a large field. There you leave the car and follow the red signs. The entrance requires a downhill walk of about 25 minutes in beautiful surroundings, while the exit requires a 45-minute uphill path to the parking lot, making a circular route.
