Location:
Vilivina canyon location is from Corinth to Patras and then Trapeza, Diakopto. In the direction of Derveni, Mamousia for the exit and back to the village of Vilivina for the entrance, heading left, right, and after 900 meters a left turn at a stable that leads to Vilivina canyon.
Specifications:
Vilivina canyon has short and easy descents with a maximum height of 20 meters. Around the beginning of May it loses water and becomes dry throughout. At the last descent prefer to turn right towards the parking lot instead of going down the waterfall.
Short description:
The characteristic red rocks of Vilivina canyon and the magnificent scenery after the bridge, towards the end of the route, make this canyon particularly beautiful. It can be combined with a descent of Erarchos canyon located in the same area. A notable attraction of the area, in the village of Plataniotissa, is the homonymous church of Panagia, built inside the trunk of a centuries-old plane tree.
